Madrid, Spain (February 16, 2006) - Atalum Wireless S.A., a leader
in enabling smart environments with its ZigBee based, wireless GREENsuite
product family, today announced its plans for 2006 that include providing
its ZigBee protocol stack free of charge and developing the corresponding
applications for OEM and corporate clients to fulfill burgeoning market
demand.
Atalum is partnering with IC manufacturers to provide Atalum's stack in various hardware platforms while leveraging its ZigBee expertise to build the required applications for OEM and their corporate clients. Atalum will continue to develop software to manage any ZigBee network to offer companies a complete solution.
Atalum's IC partners are able to provide clients with a low-cost of entry to the ZigBee marketplace while OEM partners can accelerate time-to-market of ZigBee products by compressing the ZigBee learning curve and corresponding cost.
